This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.smartrektechnologies.ca (the “Site”).

It also describes how your personal information is collected, used, when you connect your personal Google Account to either our Android App (nwk.basestation.smartrek), known under the brand name of Sugarheld, dipperLog SMART (the “Android App”), or to our Web App from www.smartrektechnologies.com/vip/sugarheld_proto/… or from dipperlogsmart.com (the “Web App”).

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND USE THROUGH THE ANDROID APP AND THE WEB APP

When you download and use the Android app (nwk.basestation.smartrek) and associate a Google account with it, we access the Gmail account to send, through this account, email alarms, as you have configured and authorized in the application. No human will read the data. In addition, when the write option is enabled in the same Android application, then the data recorded by this application is automatically sent to the Google Drive of this account. Some system configuration information can also be collected for debugging purposes

When you access Smartrek Technologies’ Web App to extend the use of the Android application (nwk.basestation.smartrek) remotely, then we request you to sign in with the same Google account as registered in the Android App. In this way, we access the data sent by the Android application on Google Drive, which allows us to present this data to you on a user-friendly, remotely accessible interface. Only the data stored by the Android App in the Smartrek folder is accessed. By logging in, we collect your username and alias to display it in the Web App, along with your profile image. Under no circumstances do we collect private data about you or data for promotional purposes. Your data is not shared with any third party and remains your sole property.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
