Electronics and Embedded Software Engineer :

We are seeking a passionate individual to join our team as an embedded software developer and PCB designer. In this role, you’ll collaborate on exciting R&D projects at Smartrek, taking the lead on initiatives from initial design all the way to market launch. You’ll also play an important role in the ongoing development of our platforms. A key focus will be enhancing the Atrax platform by creating innovative solutions, improving compatibility with third-party software, and optimizing performance. Main tasks:
- Integrate new sensors into the Atrax IoT platform.
- Develop and integrate new features into the embedded software.
- Design and implement new products using the Smartrek platform.
- Ensure production deployment and customer support.
- Participate in designing the architecture of the Atrax platform.
- Identify and fix anomalies in the embedded systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design and testing of PCBs.
- Embedded programming.
- Management of design projects with clients.
The desired candidate possesses the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Excellent self-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Expertise in embedded programming.
- Proficiency in PCB design.
- Good knowledge of French and English.
Working conditions:
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Location: Primarily remote work, with the opportunity for occasional visits to our Lévis offices. If you prefer, you can choose to be on-site more frequently.
